It's like handing them the key to a door that opens a lifetime of discovery, learning and growth. Emmy attends Southside Baptist Church and outside of the classroom she loves all things craft-related! She is a bit of a creative squirrel and tends to hop from one craft to another. One day you will find her watercolor painting, the next she is journaling, and then she's off to work on a sewing project! |

Learning to read well allows one to sit quietly and travel to many places in ones own home, to learn about past events, people who have made an impact on society, different cultures, and to be able to study God's Word. Seeing children's eyes light up when they learn something new or they accomplish a hard task makes her happy! Pam attends New Providence Baptist Church. A fun fact about her is that she has been learning to play the violin and the mandolin. She has begun playing with a Bluegrass group! |

She loves teaching because she loves children and watching them grow and succeed. She also enjoys helping them develop good character traits along the way and see them put those into practice. Patti attends Christ Chapel and outside of the classroom she loves watching interesting, live courtroom trials. Learning about our justice system and watching both sides present their cases is fun and debating with her friends who are watching the same trial. |

She has been a teacher for over 30 years in Houston County and has been a substitute teacher for the past three years. She is passionate not only teaching the foundational skills, but fostering a space that allows her students to grow and develop their own curiosity and critical thinking skills that will help them in their future. Julie attends Bonaire Church. Outside of the classroom, Julie is a person who loves life and keeping busy. She is welcoming her 9th grandchild any day now. She and her daughter starting a cookie business (The Icing Batch) making custom cookies for people and businesses. |
